So i am a few days late...

We had our first debate/ forum....

But no questions were answered. What I heard sitting in the audience was tension, Rudolph attacks, and Monica Honis the new brains behind everything good in Teaneck. Teaneck would cease to exist if not for Honis and all of her great work on the Council.
What was really missing was the small minor detail called issues. What do these people stand for. If we elect Monica will there still be a drama queen that gets nothing done. Will Audra be the new Gussen? Will Toffler just be Rude. How about Rose, will he yell at everyone at good and welfare. These are all important questions, and the residents of Teaneck deserve to know what and who they are voting for. And what about Cramer....how does he fit in with all of this? We need answers.

Goldman is the only viable alternative. Too bad we can't get Kates to run again and bring Ostrow back.

I love how all of these people running show us the true meaning of "local political hack" in New Jersey. We get the leadership we deserve.

Is it just me or do all of these people running look like little kids who can't sit in a room, share, and make a evidence based -decision to save their life.

Where is the audit of major issues in Teaneck?

Education, Taxes, Investment, Jobs, transportation, Health care, police & safety etc.. Where is our report card and and a series of benchmarks with a roadmap to hit our target goals? That is a plan.

Read what the Mayor has to report. The "infants" are the mudslingers who don't appreciate the effort made on taxes and all the other good changes.

Why doesn't Esther just apologize to Jean Paul for being an inconsiderate jerk?

I wonder whether Jean Paul's tears aren't just a bit crockodilian. Yes, Protocols of the Elders of Zion was a despicable anti-semitic canard. And Susan's Rosenblum'stract was a despicable canard that used the specter of anti-semetism to advance her lies. Isn't the whole point that Susan Rosenblum's piece was the moral equivalent of the Protocols? We can debate whether it rises to the same level of amorality/immorality, but there can be no question that at some basic level the woman is a despicable sleazebag.

Why does Jean Paul keep deflecting attention away from how fundamentally wrong her scurrilously dishonest charge was -- indeed, a far greater affront to the Orthodox community she purports to defend than any little historical allusion to an infamous forgery.

Check the history back over the decades. The Cramer crowd has always been hostile to Orthodox Jews.

Cramer is beholden to his master Loretta- and Naomi likes to join in the "fun"

Esther confesses to low standards!!

Well, Uncle Alan has joined with Esther in attacking Strawpersons.

They both re-publish and then claim to be against what is in Rosenbluth's rag.

That blue thing is a one person operation, as most everyone knows. There is no basis for expecting Team Teaneck to take responsibility for Rosenbluth. This whole demand of Alan's is akin to his demanding someone should stop beating her husband.

Amazing that Alan takes no offense at the disgraceful performance at Bryant school: certain candidates had been fed questions ahead of time, a husband was allowed to answer for his wife (two for the price of one?), Rudy was rudely drowned out by a mob as he answered questions, no one challenged Monica (Never Saw an Extra Tax She Didn't Love) Honis on her insisting on a tax bonus that was unnecessary thanks to the Council members who care about the whole community and its tax burden.

"Supporters of Team Teaneck believe that while Messrs Rudolph Hameeduddin, and Robinson will be good for all of Teaneck, including the Orthodox community, they fear that Teaneck United candidates will be anti-Orthodox and will single out the religious community in town for poor treatment" is a statement that is utterly offensive and divisive, and that seems to be the clearest possible violation of the Fair Campaign Practices Pledge; It is not an imaginary attribution, it exists in print in front of my eyes. An appropriate repudiation needs to be made.

I did not run this forum. I think that there were many things that should have been done differently, including taking questions in advance (which was done, but not followed through on), to prevent individuals from making statements and not asking questions, and to maintain a climate of respectful dialogue. As to inclusion of Dr. Toffler's husband, that was done at the discretion of the forum's organizers. I shared all of these responses with Mr. Rudolph and Hameeduddin immediately after the forum, and I'm not sure what it is that I'm expected to do to address your concerns.

There will be another forum, on Sunday at the mosque, and I hope that there will be ample opportunity for you to ask your questions. (Note: If attending, make sure to check your socks beforehand; last year, I had a hole in mine).

I too found the forum at Bryant School to be "disgraceful". I spoke to friends & neighbors, representative of several areas of town, including the Northeast, who attended the forum. The consensus of opinion was that the event was a farce. It was quite obvious that some questions were prepared in advance for the benefit of a few candidates and to the detriment of the others.
If this organization wants to see how a legitimate candidates' forum is run, perhaps they should attend The League of Women Voters' forum.

The hatred all over town and in the blogs is awful. Now I will add to that. In the interest of Diversity the team has an Orthodox Jew, an African American, a muslim.
We all know Mr. Rudolph. Mr Mohammad seems harmless, but which barrel did they dig up Mr. Robinson. When did anyone see him at a counsel meeting? Did anyone hear him talk? Embarrasing! Do people know he was removed from a leadership position on the NAACP, Bergen County Chapter. If you heard him speak years ago you heard racist talk. Yes Black folk can be racist too.
I am assuming that more respectable Black folk did not desire to run with Team Teaneck. Maybe a little suspicious of why they were asked! I am scared for the near future of Teaneck. Also I would like to agree with the attitude toward the United group. I will find it hard to vote for three!
